November Recap
November has been a great month for LYF getting back in the swing of things after a less busy October. Since our last update we had our costume contest on Wednesday 10/30. Congrats to Noah and Ava Bailey for winning that! Our game night back on 11/10 was a ton of fun, and we had alot of students bring friends! We also celebrated Noah Hatchell’s birthday at Jesus Practice back on 11/3. I’m curious how many people are reading these monthly recaps? If you’re reading this text me and let me know! Also if you’re reading this be in prayer over our upcoming Fall Retreat to Smoky Mountain Christian Camp 11/22-24. Our focus will be on how to grow deeper in our friendships with one another. 12/8 - Parent Meeting
Changed from original date of 12/1 due to Thanksgiving. Will be immediately after the late worship session in the LYF room. 30-40 minutes to go over LYF plans for the Spring semester.
12/8 - Christmas Party
5-8 in the LYF room. We’ll play games (including white elephant) and there will be a potluck style dinner. Students should bring a $5 gift for our game of white elephant. Be sure to register so we can know who’s bringing what to the potluck.
12/18 - Christmas Baskets
LYF will meet to help assemble Christmas baskets with angel tree gifts. Pizza dinner will be provided to all who help. If you’re able to help be sure to register so we can know how much pizza to get for everyone.
