Wednesday Night Roots
Upcoming Date: March 12
Wednesday Night Roots is a monthly, whole-church gathering in the gym that includes a meal, worship in song, testimonies to God's goodness, and encouragement to do God's good works. Child care will be provided for pre-school and younger. We are excited to gather with you! Please sign up by the Monday before.

The Forge: Men's Gathering
Upcoming Date: March 2
Come for dinner, fellowship, and conversation. Come and build relationships with the men of Laurel. Dinner will be provided. Sunday, March 2 at 5:45 PM in the gym. Please sign up by Thursday, February 27.

Solid Rock
Sunday, March 9
Solid Rock is Laurel’s annual talent show fundraiser event to raise money for LYF’s summer mission trip. A chili dinner is provided at 5:30 in the gym, and the show will begin shortly after dinner is served. The talent show includes performances from Laurel members as well as songs from Laurel’s House Band. During intermission there will be a brief presentation about LYF’s plans for serving with Camp Barnabas followed by a collection. If anyone is interested in performing in Solid Rock, they should contact Trey Clark. A silent auction will also be available; if you would like to donate goods or services for the auction, please contact Trey.
Family Christmas Service
Mark's lesson will focus on the little things God used to proclaim the Good News of Jesus’s birth. Bring your family out for either service (8:45 AM or 11:00 AM) and experience worship that will include some kid-friendly elements.
Christmas Together
Celebrate with us as we spend the evening singing Christmas carols and proclaiming the birth of Christ. Part of our night will focus on our children and the songs they love to sing. Come ready to light a candle as we contemplate the light that has come into the world.
Angel Tree
Beginning the Sunday after Thanksgiving (November 28), our angel tree will be in our lobby. Families connected to our church and other families connected to Hope Central will benefit from your generous donations to make this Christmas special. Please see JT or Becky Winton for more details.
Trunk or Treat
Laurel Kids Ministry will be hosting Trunk or Treat for families of kids 5th grade and younger.
All Laurel members are invited to host a trunk! If you plan to decorate your trunk/vehicle and hand out treats, please contact Cindy Taylor at ctaylorbee@gmail.com or Jessica Clark at jessicagclark24@gmail.com by October 15 to sign up!
Marble City Community Garden Clean-Up Day
We’re looking for 20 volunteers to help with the Marble City Community Garden Clean-Up Day!
This is a joint effort by Marble City Community Garden, JustLead, and the Knoxville Breakfast Rotary Club. To help, park at Grove Heights Baptist Church and meet at the outdoor classroom in the Marble City Community Garden.
