5/7 - Graduation Sunday: Sunday 5/7 at 5:30 pm we’re having a dinner to honor our high school graduates. Everyone connected with LYF in any way is invited to attend. Please register in order to help us ensure we have enough food.
Summer T-Shirts: We’re having t-shirts made for our summer theme. The cost will be $15. They will look like concert t-shirts with tour dates (our summer events) on the back, and they will be very soft. Anyone who wants a summer t-shirt should register for one by 5/10 in order to have them here by the Summer kickoff party.
Summer Trip Deadlines: The time to register for our summer trips is now!
Middle School Camp: 6/11-16 - $235-$255 - Reg. Deadline 5/28 - 5-8 Graders
IMPACT: 6/19-24 - $295 - Reg. Deadline 5/17 - 8-12 Graders.
Mission Trip: 7/16-20 - $0 for Solid Rock Helpers - Reg. Deadline 5/24 - 8-12 graders.
5/21 - Intern First Sunday: We still have plenty of slots available for anyone wanting to host an intern for dinner over the summer
5/21 - LYF 101: LYF 101 is a youth group orientation for our new 6th graders. All LYF students are welcome to join. We’ll have lunch together after the late worship service. From there the interns will lead games with the new 6th graders in the LYF room while Trey meets with parents in the community room. Any students who would like to join us for lunch/games are welcome.
5/24 - Summer Kickoff Party: Wednesday 5/24 at 5:30 will be our summer kickoff party. We’ll have a cookout and play some games before a brief devotional introducing our summer theme. We will be done with our devotional by 8, but students will be welcome to continue hanging out until as late as 9.
5/26 - Human Scavenger Hunt: Our annual human scavenger hunt event will be Friday 5/26 at West Town Mall from 5:30-7:30. Students will split up into teams and search the mall for adult church members dressed in disguises. Afterward, we’ll have dinner together in the mall food court.
5/28 - Devo at Trey’s: There will be a devotional at Trey’s house on Sunday 5/28 from 5-7. Dinner will be provided.
