Fall Retreat 2024

The Fall Retreat will be here sooner than we know! I wanted to go ahead and post all info as well as open up registration. The Fall Retreat will be November 22-24 at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp. The cost will be $85 ($30 for Justlead) which includes food, lodging, supplies, and a t-shirt. The weekend will consist of team games, worship, quiet times, free time, and lessons. We’ll meet at Laurel at 5:00pm on Friday 11/22 and be back around noon on Sunday 11/24

The theme will be centered around having healthy Christlike relationships with one another in our technological age. The key questions we’ll be focusing on are: What is it we lose when our relationships become more and more disembodied and more and more centered around technology? How do we get those things back? How do we genuinely connect with one another in a world of fake/surface level relationships? What is required of us to relate to one another as God intended? How do we relate to one another the way Jesus would if he were in our time?
