Mark Smith

Mark Smith has been Laurel’s Senior Minister since 2007. He is a native Detroiter with degrees from Rochester College, Abilene Christian University and Lipscomb University. He has been in full-time ministry since 1975.

Mark married Robin (Gill) in 1976. Robin, an educator for over 30 years, is presently the Instructional Coach at Westview Elementary School in Knoxville. They have two sons, Gabe and his wife Meg live in Seattle, Washington. Ryan and his wife April live in Rockwall, Texas. Mark and Robin have four grandchildren, Tucker and Charlotte (Seattle), and Stockton and Lincoln (Rockwall.)
