LYF This Week (3/27-4/2)

Summer Hospitality Signups: I’m hoping to have the Summer calendar out by the end of the week. One big thing you all can do to help LYF this summer is signup to either 1) Host an intern for dinner 2) Host the youth group for a devo or 3) Provide dinner for LYF on a Wednesday night during the summer. Wednesday Night: This upcoming Wednesday night will be focused on prayer. Details are still being worked out, but we’ll likely have various prayer stations with different prayer prompts. Meet for dinner (bring your own) at 6:00. Youth group starts at 6:45.

Saturday’s Johnson University Event: Saturday 4/1 is our big area wide event on the campus of Johnson University. Meet at the church building at 3:30pm to take the bus over to campus. There will be food, fun, and a time of worship as well. Johnson University is fully staffing and funding this event simply in order to get students on campus. As a graduate student of JU, I couldn’t recommend the school enough. Sign up here for the area wide event. We should be back at the building for pickup by 9:00pm.

Sunday Night Pour: Our next Pour event will be Sunday 4/2 from 6-7:30 in the LYF room. We’ve got a lot of various projects for our ministry teams to work on, and we could really use the help of any students available to come use their gifts to pour back into the ministry.

Sunday Bible Class: This past Sunday we began a combined class on the Gospel of Mark. This study will run until the beginning of the summer. Bible class is at 9:30am in the LYF room every Sunday morning.
