Camp LYF
Camp is upon us! Camp LYF will be over Memorial Weekend: 5/24-5/27 at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp. What happens at camp? At camp students will have tons of fun growing closer to God and one another through worship, lessons, quiet times, group discussion, team games, swimming in the lake, going down the zipline, riding the giant swing, climbing the rock wall, and so many more classic camp games/traditions like “Good Morning Camp,” “Cones of Dunshire,” worship on Buck Bald, and more. To get an idea of what camp looks like, click here to watch a video of the week of camp I helped direct last year. This will give anyone who hasn’t been before an idea of the kinds of things that we do at camp.
We’ll show up at camp at midday 5/24 and leave in the evening of 5/27 to ensure we get four full camp afternoons on the lake. Camp will cost $200 for campers and $100 for counselors/adult chaperones. The rate for Justlead students will be $50. Full and partial scholarships are always available. Our goal with these big expensive trips is to make sure that money is never the reason a student can’t go. This cost includes 10 meals. The deadline to register for camp LYF is Friday 5/10. Let me know if you have any questions!
